The Virtual Router (BGP) – Confederation page enables you to divide autonomous systems into smaller units known as confederations.
To Create
a ConfederationEnter the necessary information:
Confederation: Click Enable to activate the confederation or click Disable to deactivate the confederation.
ID: Enter an integer to identify the confederation.
Supported RFC: Select one of two Request for Comment document standards to set for the confederation environment: RFC 3065 or RFC 1965.
Peer Member area ID: Enter a value that identifies the AS of the peer you want to add to the confederation. Click Add to add the peer member ID. You can add additional peer member IDs for the confederation. To remove a peer member ID, click Remove.
Click OK to save your changes and return to the Virtual Router Basic Configuration page. Click Apply to continue configuring BGP.
